Iran Embassy:
Preservation Today
Since the 1970s, the embassy sits abandoned along the iconic Embassy Row. As international land, there is very little that D.C. can do with the building or risk international discourse on U.S. embassy buildings. However, there is some activity at the embassy as the grass is still mowed and very basic cleaning is given to the building.
